For every Asian country that I visit, I have a favourite noodle variety – and of course for Thailand that could only be Pad Thai. I learnt how to cook this years ago in Bangkok, and I was surprised how a dish could be so delicious and so simple once you knew the right tricks and balance of flavours. Tips & Tricks from Sachie
- Instead of using chicken, you can use alternative protein such as seafood or Tofu
- Cooking the rice stick noodle is 2mins 30 sec. Don’t worry if they are not al dente as we will finish off the cooking in a wok or pan!
- Garnishing with roasted peanut, deep fried shallots and chill flakes are all personal choice! I prefer to use them all but you can choose what you like
